Breakage or damage – the Hirer is responsible for the condition of the property and its contents during the period of the hire.
The Hirer will make good any damage or loss. Replacement items will be charged at cost.
The person held responsible will be the person who signed the booking form.
Please notify us immediately if breakages or damage occur.
Care of property – please take proper and reasonable care of the cottage.
It is a condition of the let that you leave the property and its contents clean and tidy.
For example, please leave the cottage in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental, as you found it at the beginning.

Strictly no smoking – regretfully, smoking is not allowed in the cottage.
Pets – again, regretfully we do not allow pets.
Right of entry - we reserve the right to entry at any reasonable time for the purpose of inspection or to carry out necessary repairs and maintenance.
Injury, loss or damage – The owners do not accept responsibility if any injury, loss or damage is caused by the Hirer’s own fault.
Property becomes unavailable – if the cottage becomes unavailable or unusable for any reason prior to the date of your booking,
you will be reimbursed for any monies paid.
Eileen and Bill McBain reserves the right to refuse entry to the entire party, or to terminate the stay, without refund,
if any of these conditions are not met.

The county of Angus offer a great variety of landscapes and terrain stretching from the coast in the east to the start of the
Cairngorm Mountains as you head west.
The main East Coast railway line runs north from Dundee through Carmoustie, Arbroath and Montrose.

Dramatic coastal cliffs, monuments, castles, heather clad mountains, rivers, streams and fertile
valleys within a 30 mile drive all easily accessible from the Pertshire and the central belt Heart of Scotland.

Alyth a small Scottish village, borders the counties of Angus and Perthshire.
The area of Angus and Dundee provide a transition from Lowlands to the Grampian Mountains and
the Highlands of Scotland.
Angus is mainly fertile farmland known as The Strathmore Valley, famous for soft fruit-growing and for
Aberdeen Angus cattle. Nearby is Glamis Castle and attractive country towns serving this area include
Forfar, Brechin and Kirriemuir. To the east is the coastline of Carnoustie and its famous golf links,
the town of Arbroath famous for its smokies and north to Montrose.
